Little Pup Dango

Ladies and gentlemen! May I introduce you, little pup Dango! I wanted to create a little buddy for Little Kitty Marie so here he is! Before going to the good stuff, please go to my Terms Of Use page for some practical information. Okies! Here we go!

Materials:
- 3mm hook
- White wool (or colour A)
- Black wool (or colour B)
- Fillings of your choise
- Tapestry needle
- Eyes (I used beads)
- A stitch marker

Stitches in US terminology
- Mr (magic ring)
- Sc (sing crochet)
- Inc (increase)
- Sc2tog (decrease = crochet 2 stitches togheter)
- BLO (back loop only)
- * (repeat until you've reached the end of the row)

Head in white
1) Mr 6
2) Inc all
3) *1sc, 1 inc*
4) *2sc, 1inc*
5) *3sc, 1inc*
6) Sc all
7) Sc all
8) Sc all
9) Sc all
10) Sc all
11) Sc all
12) Sc all
13) *3sc, 1 sc2tog *
Start the stuffing and shaping 
14) *2sc, 1 sc2tog *
15) *1sc, 1 sc2tog *
16) Sc2tog all and leave a long tail to finish off

Eyebrows in white (make 2)
1) Mr 6
2) Turn, chain 1, inc all, leave a long tail to finish off

Ears in black (make 2)
1) Begin with black: Mr 6
2) Inc all
3) *1sc, 1 inc*
4) *2sc, 1inc*
5) Sc all
6) *2sc, 1 sc2tog*
7) Sc all
8) *1sc, 1 sc2tog *
9) Sc all
10) Sc all
11) Sc all
12) *1sc, 1 sc2tog* and leave a long tail to finish off

Nose in black
1) Begin with black: Mr 4

4) BLO: sc all

Body in white

Paws (make 4)
1) Begin with black: Mr 6

6) Sc all and change the last stitch into white when you've reached the end of the row
7)  In white: sc all
8) Sc all

Start the stuffing and shaping 
10) Sc all and leave a long tail to finish off

Tail
1) Begin with black: Mr 4
2) 1inc, 3sc
3) 1inc, 4sc
4) 1inc, 5sc
5) Sc all and change the last stitch into white when you've reached the end of the row
Start the stuffing and shaping 
6) In white: sc all
7) Sc all
8) 1 inc, sc until you've reached the end of the row
9) 1 inc, sc until you've reached the end of the row
10) 1 inc, sc until you've reached the end of the row
Add more filling and shape it
11) sc all and change to white until you've reached the end of the row

The sewing:
1. Before the sewing, pin it all together until you're happy with the result. Then the sewing can begin.
2. Sew the nose onto the head, then the eyebrows and eyes. When you're done, sew the ears on to the head.
3. Sew the head on to the body.
4. Pin the paws into the correct position and sew it onto the body. Sew the tail on to the body and you're finished.
